(1931 - 2011)

“I am a strong supporter of this effort to bring
affordable, quality higher education opportunities to our area. I am a product of a similar community college, Jefferson City Junior College, where I received my first two years of higher education.

Working my way through school and living at home after graduating from high school, this was the only affordable option for me to continue my education, and it became the base for my law degree and a fulfilling career in the Missouri House and the U.S. Congress.”
